Angel 4 Clamp feeder?

Hi everyone,
I bought one of the clamp feeders at Campaign Cup last weekend. I was very suprised to find out that the evo2 wouldnt fit as standard and has to be milled down! Tried with a revolution back home and it barely goes in there.

Something wrong here or what? Why havent they made it larger so that the evo2 would fit as standard? It would certainly make it hold a bit longer. Anyone got any input on this - any clues on to why? Am I doing someting wrong (cant see how though ) - or have I just gotten a bad ex?

I think I'll try and change the o-rings first - after that I suppose the only soloution is to mill it down(?).

it has to be the orings, i can't believe wdp could screw something up like a clamping rise that bad.

This sure doesn't sound like WDP. Did you get a "preproduction" model? Then again maybe this is just one of those "bugs" that all things have in the early runs.

we recommend putting a small amount of love juice in the orings before putting the hopper in..

fits a halo b no problem. did you have the thing tight when trying to put the evo in?

Tried with some paintball oil and it sure made it easier. But it’s still extremely tight. It works though so thanks for the tip! :)

I had it all screwed out, of course :tongue:

Bottom line:
I tried with some oil and it can be squeezed in there with some force so I guess it´s all right now! :) - Still think they could have made it a bit larger though :puzzled:
