I have an angel IR3 and I'm looking into way's to drop the pressure so I may get more than 600 shot's off my tank. It seems that the IR3 is an air hog. I was looking into an lpr kit that resembles the jackhammer or microrock. are they worth it? I don't know a damn thing about angels and I would like to learn more before screwing it up. thanks

600 shots? What size tank? On my IR3s I could easily get over 800 shots off a 45 4500 sounds like you got some probs. And also some IR3s need a lpr set as high as 110 to get the velocity up to par. And by all means dont do the FF mod to your IR3 not needed and not worth the $$. Have a tech or sponsor do a full run through of you IR3 and you should be golden after that.

I have heard mixed replies on the FF ERA Mod, I think im going to leave it alone, but if you want you can always get it. Ive heard it is finicky and needs to be set just right or else your marker wont work. But it does give you more control over the gun you can set it up exactly as you want so you decide I guess.

Can you describe or like to what the FF ERA mod is?

it replaces your LPR with an adjustable reg like a Palmer's Rock reg. You lose any ability to tune your LPR as you can no longer tell what your LPR pressure is. None of our sponsors are willing to tune a marker with said mod either, so you'd be stuck sending it to them to get it worked on. There's no real gains to it, and it's certainly not worth the headache.

sounds like a bad move, thanks.
I like my angle parts on my angle. Palmers is good for the A5

Came accross this thread in a search and not to resurect it but you can easily attach a rockometer to the Micro rock to tell what preassure its out. If you don't feel like buying one you can pick up a 2way male cocker hose with a female 1/8 port to attach a gauge you have around. Or just get the rockometer

This is old but I never got the mod done. Looked it up and found that yes it was not worth it. I took my baby apart and cleaned and greased it up, replaced the valve (which had been leaking) replaced all orings check lpr pressure and now my baby's spittin fire! For everyone out there Please read your manual. It will tell you alot more than you possibly know. :hititraw:
