hey,
im just wondering....is there any big diff in the opti vs switch..and is it possible to send ur gun in and get the switch taken out and the opti put in? and what dou think it would cost if it was possible

The Microswitch is just the older version of the trigger. If it is set to short it will bounce. They made the Opto Board so that you could set your trigger pull very small without it having to bounce. It would have to be a new board. I am not sure how much it is for the swap. No he is right. The BOARD upgrade is not free. ANd in order to get the new board its 150.

it is 150 plus shipping.(if you send it away, might as well have them do the cops upgrade too [if necessary with your new board])

dang...150+ ur board to switch it o a opti, if u already have cops will the new board come with cops.....i have a dark ir3....

IS the Mem6A the lastest software?

I have the mem 6. and the COPS 2 , supposedly.
Is there a way to tell?

MEM6 and MEM6A are exactly the same...the A is simply the upgraded version of the software instead of an original install. If you buy an IR3 now it should be MEM6, I know that the Dark's WS had in just before Cup were all MEM6

Thanks for the info. I am the pround New Owner of a C&C blue IR3. Still New in the box!

I still need to buy an air system for it. I now have a GZ with a PE tank 45/68.

just to let you know, it costs $150 plus $25 for shipping to change a micro board to an opto, and you have to send it to WDP directly (in england) to make this change as the techs are not allowed to sell boards for whatever reason.

It will also come back with the same serial number as the board that you sent in. this is per frazer, because i asked already.
