Can I use a Palm to upgrade my MEM and COPs?

Can I use a Palm to upgrade my MEM and my COPs? Do you have to pay for Palm software? Do MindSpring PDAs use the right OS?

you have to send your board to a tech to have it upgraded. the palm software is free, and as long as the palm pilot is running an unmodified version of palm OS it should work.

no, you cannot upgrade your own MEM version.

anything on the PALM OS should work, however there were problems with a couple of models, read some of the other threads and you'll be made aware of them.
