alright, bought a nice new halo to toss on the angel, its chopping so much i'm reminded of the days i shot an impulse. i'm looking for some lcd and halo users that have fixed their chopping issues.
i have a new CP ball detent. are there detents that work better/worse with halos?
what is the best lpr pressure to use a halo with? i've been hearing like 90-95. is that about right?
should i cap my mrof down to something lower than 20?
anything else?
any or all suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Halo's are hit and miss with Angels......read a couple of the other threads on this and you'll quickly realize why a lot of people don't use them.
The Eclipse fang ball detent is great, I use it on my IR3 and it works awesome.......(I also use an Evo2 tho)

Try the Cobra detent, or the System X detent. Both are stong, and should help you out some.

Dont really know if this helps, havent got a clue about this my self, but a friend of mine talked said that he would propably need two ball detents if he should be able to use a halo-b on his angel...... Am I far off here or what ????

TEC.......that is one recommendation (even Odyssey has said this) you'll also note the Speed and 4 both have double detents.

Believe it or not, i have been doing very well with a Halo TSA, it has only missed like 1 oe 2 shots in a day of playing, no chops, it has done pretty well keeping up with my angel. eggs are better though, but I'm not a fan, after my egg stopped working, and the shell cracked, lid, etc.

Alright me being a halo user, i can answer any question. been threw every problem with an angel
The TSA upgrade is highly recommended, but if u dont wana spend the money take the thing apart, love juice it, wipe it down
it should be less aggressive then. I use stock detents

My halo b worked great on my LCD. well that was only when i put the dwell up to 17 that it worked good. I use the stock detent and gated feed on my lcd.
TAG did some tests before with different halos, and some of them worked and some of them had chops.

i agree that is a sweet detent, but they specifically say "DO NOT USE WITH HALO" the people from eclispe know that the halo's force will push the balls right by
here's the proof for people who wont believe me...its in italics

ive dropped my egg in a puddle of water, dropped onto a concrette slab, and even dropped it a few times while playing and it still works the best.
what halos are you guys talking bout, the TSA or B's i here the Bs work buy the TSAs suck on angels

I have been using my LCD 2k1 Dark with a Halo B since I got it and it works fine.
The ONLY time it has chopped on me is when I tried to do 20bps on full auto with a dwell at 14. When I go down to full auto at 18bps or semi-auto it works fine with no modifications to the Angel or Halo B.
Just make sure that your ball detent is good (I use the stock Angel detents) with good batteries in the Halo B and you should do fine.
Good luck!

HALOS or tourked up eggs will chop in the lcd due to the ball going back into the bolt face and a second ball going partially in causing partal dbole feed...

My team mate did....He likes cockers...I do to but I think I got the better end of the deal....Bob Long 98 Vert feed anodized, and replaced about everything for a 2k1 C&C angel with LP and some other stuff done to it..... Good deal? lol....

i have the same problems...my Halo B double feeds like crazy and i can get a good 60 balls out without a problem. imma have to try a new ball detent + a clamping/gated feed and see how that works, if not back to the good ol' evo2 ^_^ plus the Z-board is coming out soon! :D
