Someone may have puy it in to help keep the Ram from moving. Did you buy the Gun used? But in all honesty I'm not sure. You can always follow th saying "If it ain't broke don't fix it". I mean you said the gun seems to be working fine and not leaking.

it almost looks like it came from the back plate somewhere on the battery side it fits there but it don't fit when i put the back plate on. i can't figure it out. and when i say it shoots fine thats only because i was allmost out of air shooting at 400psi. tommorow i'll try it with a fresh tank and hope for the best. also if anybody knows where i can get a full exploded view of the gun that would help but the instruction book doesn't have the best exploded view. thanx for all your help.

umm, let's see

there's no o-ring at the sight rail, none on the grip frame,

none are supposed to be sticking out at the back plate, maybe someone just put is there as a spare o-ring for the ram so they always have it around, that's the only thing i can think of

yeah i can't figgure it out it's such a big o-ring that i couldn't even immagine where it would go in such a small gun. is there an o-ring that goes from the grip to the frame? i can't seem to find a full exploded view of the gun anywhere. if anyone knows that would help. the instruction manual sucks for this. i need something like a blue print. does the ram use a large o-ring?

ram or battery. On the battery large O-rings, very much like you describe, are used to keep it from sliding back and forth.

i think your both right my local air tech said the same thing but why won't it fit back in??????????????? it's the perfect size and it don't seem like my battery will even move. but you don't think this will hurt it in any wat do you? thanx

it wont hurt it, just leave it out if it wont fit dont worry about it, if you notice later on that your batter is moving around in your gun then you might want to pry it back in there, but even if you batter starts moving around it will only be moving a few millimeters since that's what the o-ring prevents, and that's cant hurt it in any way so you're safe

Guaranteed it was for the battery not to move. I usually put the o-ring on the other side (front of gun between the allen cap and battery) to get rid of that rattling that some markers will have with the battery.
