do a trigger job and just practice walking it, that's the only solution

your mrof can go higher, you just have to do it from the internal menu, you cant do it with the external buttons

^how to^

it's also worthy to note that it's almost impossible to hit the mrof that you have set...i have never hit a 14'rof' when my mrof is set at 14....yet i can do it if it's set at 16 or above.

Not to sound dumb or anything but can someone briefly explain what "walking" the trigger is? Is it the same as double tapping?

its alternately tapping you middle and index finger on the trigger

Walking the trigger is one of the most popular ways to shoot fast, its done buy moving both your index and middle finger back and forth, getting a shot for each time one finger hits the trigger. This usually works best with hinge and flat triggers. There are also other techniques such as finger sliding, where you run your finger up and down the trigger, which works better when you have a trigger such as the scorpian.

What you need to understand about the MROF is that it will prevent you from exceeding the preset limit by only allotting a certain number of maximum trigger pulls per second. Therefore, your efforts to rip those 14 balls in less than one second will be futile.

You have to remember the board is not intelligent, it will not let you rip as fast as you want and automatically stop you from firing once you have reached 14 balls before one second time has passed. All the board does is space out the trigger pulls in segments, so that after lets say .20 seconds has passed, you could have discharged the gun a maximum of 2 times if the MROF is set to 10. If you pull the trigger 4 times in that .20 seconds, only 2 of those pulls will have actually discharged the gun.

In other words, if you want to more easily reach a higher ROF, then increase your MROF. Just becareful not to overshoot.

Also, if your MROF cannot be increased above anything below 20, then check the mode your board is set to; it should be mode "b". If it is not, then remove the grip and find the 2 buttons at the bottom of the grip under the LCD screen. The left one will allow you to cycle through the menu, the right one will change the setting. Cycle through to mode and then cycle through the alphabet till you reach "b".

I do not know why I felt like giving that long and overcomplicated summary, despite the fact it had been discussed, but I did so you are welcome.

where do you get finger weights, and how well can they improve my trigger pull speed?

Oh my god...

Actually, the slower you pull the trigger the more stable tapping motion you can obtain when you use the tips of your index and middle finger. When I slow down and balance a "see-saw" motion out of my fingers, I can easily rip 15 bps. You do not need weights, it was a joke. Just learn how to shoot and adjust your trigger to your liking.

it seems that me and SK are the only ones that can rip with single triggers
