hello all i have a 2k2 ir3 ok when the breech is closed the marker will not fire just makes a a sound like it is letting the air go but the bolt isn't moving but when the breech is open it fires all day long and yes the bolt moves freely when i move it with my hand any suggestions

Snap Ring maybe. The added mass of the bolt causing it problems. Or the bolt pin binding. But I'll admit I'm guessing.

Check the lpr, my iR3 did the same thing when the pressure dropped as it broke in.

ya i was thinking snap ring too, really sounds like a misadjusted snap ring

sounds like the pin on your bolt might have eased its way out...check the length of your pin on the bolt to someone elses or to a new one.

Simple the manual is real straight forward. But:

-Remove the backplate
-That little allen head nut in the center of the ram is the snap ring adjustment.
-Air up the gun and turn it Clockwise until the gun makes a "coughing" sound when you try to fire it.
-From this point turn the nut 1/4 turn clockwise, ensure the gun fires and you're done.

When I did mine I took the nut all the way out, put a LITTLE blue locktite on it then adjusted it. And haven't had a problem yet. But I would also take Warped's idea and check/verify your LPR as the two are kind of dependant on each other.
