version 2 is what you will get if you get a replacement...version 2 is the standard.

if you have a version 2 already they will replace it w/ a new one and fix or refurbish the old one.

if you have a version 1 they will replace it w/ a new version 2 and presumably chunk your old one.

if you don't know what you have now..look at the "vibe" if it has a wire reinforcement wrapped around it it's a version 2, if it does not it's a version 1.

hope that helps

cus when you swap a version 2 you are giving them one back to fix and sell again.

when you swap a version 1 it's trash

like when your car starter goes out....you buy a new one it's expensive...you turn in your old one and get a rebuild and it's cheap.

the board has a few upgraded parts and a few mods done to them and it costs money to do the changes...its not like a software upgrade...physical mods were made to the boards

i believe that there is a thread that shows pics with the differences between the two. they are slightly visually different but not completely radical. I think is also addressed a temp issue that the v1 had at times but don't quote me on that...
