You can use some of the parts of the LCD for the LED. Do a search as this has been brought up before. I do not think you can put the LCD screen if that's what you mean.

Like speed said, the LED can use some LCD parts. The LED cannot be converted into an LCD however. You cannot put the LCD's electronics on an LED.

I have both a LED and LCD, and was going to do a LCD conversion on my LED. What I found it that it would be so much work it's not worth it. But, according to WDP, the LCD board will run the LED. You would have to splice the harness and machine an air passage in a LCD grip(you still have to use the stovepipe VA) and buy a LCD board. The LCD board alone will set you back $160-200 depending on where you buy it. And new LCD grip frames are $120. Then you have to do all of the work. As you see, it's just not worth it. I'm a toolmaker, and work in a machine shop(so I could do all of the work myself), and decided not to go ahead with it. You have to ask youself why you'd want to anyway. The LED with the LCD internals will shoot 99% as good as a LCD, so what are you gaining with a conversion? All you get is a little screen to tell you things you have no time for in a game. I was only going to do the conversion because I know Angels well, and thought it would be a cool thing to show off. But in the end, common sense got the better of me. Love the LED for what it is(or what it costs), or just buy a LCD. That's my $.02.

I agree. IF you want an LCD buy one, I think it would save you a lot of time and hassle. I will always stick with my LED so i dont have to worry about converting.

thanks for all the input

the only reason i wanted to know about using the led frame was because the angel i have bought has the trigger guard cut off and led double trigger frames are less than common.

anyway i have just ordered the dye trigger guard from the states so all is now sorted.

thanks again
