How much is too much?- Shot counter

I'm looking to buy a LCD and a guy has nice looking 2k2 black one but he said he's got 195222 on the shot counter. Is that to much? seems like a lot.

nope, shot counters dont mean ****, check out the physical condition of the gun

Yea check out inside the gun and ask to shoot it, alot of those shots could be turning the gun on and just messing with the trigger and seeing how fast you can fire, without having any air in it. Heh I do that all the time.

200k on a marker that is last years model???

That does sound like a lot, but how much of it is truly with air and/or paint. heck I know the first 10k on my LCD were mostly just setting up the trigger. The physical condition of the marker is really all that matters, unlike a cars odometer the shot counter really isn't indicative of how the marker was treated.

You have to inspect the gun itself and check the internal openings for wear and damage. It's tough to do for a first time owner, but anyone here can help you thru it.. I mean, if there are some internal areas that look like a belt sander hit it, i'd say don't waste you time

Shot counter doesn't mean all that much, so don't worry about it.

yeah shot counter isnt truely accurate, i've decided not to care because it seems that almost everybody has had a battery fualt or board glitch that reset the board, so it doesnt weigh too much on my mind

well, thats kinda alot, like emmit said, but i think you should still buy it, after yo shoot it so know it works... as long as its holding up you should be happy with it...and only 800,000 more pulls and the board gets reset to 0!

actually, my counter says 999,937 as of yesterday. I have had my Dark 2k2 LCD since they were first availible and used it at least once a week ever since i got it
