I just installed a new LPR, when I fire, it recharges quickly to 80 psi, creeps slowly to 120 psi, then creeps very very slowly after that. It was cleaned and lubed before being put in, so in short would I need a new LPR (again)? It's pissing me off that a new lpr doesn't work.:wall:

what's your input pressure?

the LPR is supposed to be set up with a 500psi input

you certainly sound like you're overpressurizing the LPR.

Nope, 500 psi going into the gun, and I've also tried lower input pressures too.

I'm no Angel tech but this sounds like an o-ring problem.

For setting the LPR can I gut the mini-reg , by removing the c-clip,piston and Spring stack (leaving only the ball bearing and adjustment screw and put 500 PSI directly from the Apocalypse ?
Is this safe enough for the gun?

Or the only thing I need is to put 500 PSI on the Air System leaving the inline on? I doubt this one because the inline output pressure is usually bellow 500PSI...

Thanks in advance

why gut the reg only to put everything back in it later?

do you have a hose with a slide check on it? Get an adapter and screw it into the ASA, then hook said hose up to it, and set your output pressure to 500psi, you've now got 500 psi going into the marker. Set your LPR, and off to the races you go.....

and another

this piece screws into your marker where the reg goes (the flash chamber)

instead of the steel braided hose I've got there, put a QD nipple. Then you can put a QD and Slide Check on a hose coming out of your air system. Set your air system to 500 psi, and you've now got 500 psi going into the marker.

Thanks Emmit but I don't have one of those adapters..i've seen somewhere that I could flush the mini-reg screw to the maximum and the minireg won't work. Do you know if this ingo is accurate?
cheers

check with your local shop.

they're a really common piece. Take the picture if you need to, but all your looking for is basically a bottom line adapter.
