last week i was playing speedball and a player w/ a speed angel told me if i changed my stock barrel it would make a big diffrence.so today i ordered a 14'inch evil barrel kit. ive heard from people to get a freak system or a jt barrel. can anyone give me any feedback on which barrel you heard is good for the speed or anyone you guys recommend? thanx!!!

Good choice on the pipe, you should enjoy it. I wouldn't recommend trading/selling it for another barrel kit, it would be a waste of money to do so. I hope you enjoy your new-found accuracy!

Basicly any barrel or barrel kit where you can match paint size will work. Bu yea you've made a good choice thought about one myself but I'd already spent the money on my Ultralight set.

i have a freak on my speed and it works nicely. Pipe is good to I just prefer the freak because you can fit a wider range of balls if you have the whole kit. They are all pretty similair in acuracy its just which one you like better, changing mount pieces or inserts.

I really like the JT so far but each to his own. Paintballgear has the SS insert Freak out. Now that I'd like to try.

Where do you buy a DYE Ultralite kit? You can buy the backs and fronts at Freeflow, but there is no way in hell I'm spending around $300 for a DYE kit. No way.

okay guys, i just went to pbreview.com and there were two people who had speed angels setup with the evil barrel kit. they both gave the barrel a 10 out of 10. they say that its more accurate than the freak and it shoots straight. the only weakness that i hear about it is that it's kinda loud. other than that they say they love it and they recommend it!!!!!

well..pbreview is about as useful as a spyder, they give all kinds of things awesome ratings just because they own them..

i have a evil pipe kit an ultralight and a jt 2 peice. i have to say the best accuracy if i am using paint that fits all of them correctly ( they are 689, 690, and the closeset pipe back is 689 also) so if i am using severe the most accurite for me is the pipe then JT then UL. so good choice on the pizzipe.

Just buy one front and them get the backs you want. That's what I did.

i went on pbreview.com and i did my studying on the freak system and 2 of the guys who had freaks on their speed's both gave it a 9 out of 10. one even said he would prefer the evil barrel over the freak but everybody has their own opinion. i guess i just gotta see myself.

when it comes to accuracy the freak and pipe are very close. Me and some of the guys on our team have tested both with the same paint. They both shoot tight patterns and there really isn't much difference. The pipe seemed to shoot a tighter group but there is always wind and not all paintballs are perfect.
