Hey, I don't own an Angel yet but I'm hoping to get the Angel Speed in a couple of months. I've tried out the Angel Speed, and was VERY fast. Sadly.. I dont know anything about the Angel. I was wondering if its really easy to maintain. <oiling / cleaning / keeping it in great condition> Is the Angel Speed very reliable? What hoppers / barrel work best?

Thanks

if you have ever owned an Angel before, the Speed is just as easy to maintain, if not easier. basically any set-up that you can think of will work fine with a Speed. mix and match to your liking...

Basically the Angel is really simple to maintain. They don't like a lot of oil and the bolt is designed to run dry. For oil just put two or three drops in the input of the minireg, one drop in the valve exhaust hole and dry fire the gun 30-40 times about every 8k shots or so. The one thing you want to keep an eye on is the sensi rod, keep it and the channel clean and dry.

As for setups TC is right just about anything will work well. But if you're going to use a revy make sure it has an X-board.

One more thing. Get a tool kit. It makes setting up/working on the gun much easier.

hypothetically, say you were placing oil in the input for the reg and you accidently squeezed the bottle of love jice too hard and put 15 drops in or so. What would this do the next time you played? Hypotheticaly I did dry fire the marker about 40 times afterwoods and then cleaned oil out of the breach.

honestly, i dont think it is going to hurt the gun, but you are going to be finding oil all over everything for the next two months. just try to be careful with how much you do put in it....

Hypothetically huh.... Again, I think TC's right. I would take the gun apart and give it a good wipe done though. Just because the excess oil will attract dirt/dust and increase the chance of gumming up the gun.

I see. I was checking out other threads from the Speed section and you guys were talking about Dwell and Mode 1 and 2 and stuff like that. What exactly do they do? As for safe mode goes does the Speed have one? Do you just turn it on before a game and turn off after game?

Thanks

dwell is how long the valve stays open, when the bolt moves forward. and the modes are the different options for the anti chop system on the speed.
