The Speed is cheaper, faster, and also low pressure, but has an LED instead of an LCD. The IR3 has the LCD. It's basically all personal preference.

go with a speed man, cheaper and more efficient, easier to use, and not to mention faster. only diff is it has led instead of lcd. most of the stuff on the lcd is useless anyway

I just ordered myself a Speed demon last week. Not because I wasn't happy with my IR3 but more for the rate of fire and Lower operating pressure. It's really a personal preference.

speed is more efficient in air useage, better bolt,and its faster than the ir3, but it lacks in the LCD display. it has the LED display

the speed thing is that the IR3 is advertised at 20bps while the Speed is advertised at 30bps

i personally like the ir3 alot more and the speed bolt is the same as the r11

speaking of bolts has anyone tried the new designz speed/ir3 bplt its supposed to incresse like 15-25fps over the stock is this true can anyone vouch

well the speed is faster and easier to use but the speed breaks down too much. the ir3 is just as fast more accurate and looks nicer id get the 1r3 much better bc i traded my speed for an ir3 and i tihnk its much better.

Well ill just throw out a couple thoughts cuz ive owned both. My speed's sensi didnt work worth sheeot!! No one elses does around here that ive talked to before either. Only sensi mode 2 seems to work at all...but in that mode the gun goes into bursts of full auto....i got pulled from a tourney for that...lol and i saw the same thing happen to another guy. The speed I had also broke down on me twice...only angel to ever do this. First day i used it it dev a leak........only an o ring but still!! Another time bolt locked up.......took it apart and cleaned and oiled it worked fine again but still(i oil and clean after everday of playing). Any way i sold my speed and got an ir3, only a mem3, and I still like it much better. Finally, go online you can find new ir'3 for the same money as a speed...especially on e bay.
