I bought a used 2000 lcd off of ebay and had to buy a charger seperate. The battery was dead when I got it so I put the gun on the charger and went and did other things for about an hour. When I came back the screen was covered. It was displaying everything that it can display, the numbers were all 8's, it had the words timerdwellfault and bunch of others there. I'm wondering if this means my charger is screwed up or my board is fried or what the heck is wrong.

my guess is a bad board, but then again where did you get the charger? Maybe you got the wrong charger and fried the board.

Let it sit off of the charger for a while, then turn it back on. Might just need a rest.
Same thing happnened to me...You fried the board...I had to go to Warped Sports in LA and they replaced it in 10 minutes. Cost me about $70 cuz it wasn't a DARK...It would only be $40 for a new board if it's a DARK. Now it's working perfect...The Tech there said that that's the only drawback with Angels...each tim eyou fry the board you have to spend $40-$70 each time....Get a new board, that'll solve your problem...

Fried boards for the LCD used to be covered under warranty. I don't believe they are any longer.
As for your problem, make sure you have the right charger for the right battery type. A 2000 LCD probably has a NiCD battery.
