Will putting a very low rise on a speed affect the performance? im thinking they are timed to always have the 3-4 balls in the stock rise, if i change that to 2-3 balls will i come into timing issues? im most likey going to be using a halo thanks

only thing is that if you get it to low the breech wont swing open unless you remove the feedneck

I have had no problems using a low rise feed with my halo. From what i've seen everyone who has changed to a clamping feed is using the low rise. You can pick one up from ebay for $25.You're going to want the clamping for your halo-it will keep you from having to sand down the neck.I sanded my original one to fit my Ir3 and then had to use tape when i wanted to use it in my led.Fortunately when i sent it in for the software upgrade oddysey just gave me a new body.

how would the ballstack affect timing.........

tag volumizers all the way. under 200 psi...only 2 or so inches long. and low rises work fine with halos. they actually work better with the low rise, less stack pressure, so no pushing past the detents.

Incorrect. Part of the problem a force fed hopper blows paint past the detents, or behind them, is ball stack ALIGNment. The higher the ballstack, the less the feedrate and pressure. The reason a force fed hopper will push paint past the detents, is because the paint isn't aligned properly. In a high rise, there is more room for paint to wobble, and the paint rests on top of each other at bad angles. let me show you, this is kind of hard to explain.

Now, with that highly detailed picture, you see what I mean? The uneven-ness of the ball stack causes the paintball to be moved forward or back, depending on how the ball falls into the Breech. Sometimes it stays in a line, sometimes the paintball gets pushed back, sometimes forwards.
