I was at school about a week ago and i had my Marker in my truck and one of the administrators found out and they had the cop at my school take it away and they said that if i want it back i can talk to the city. Isnt that a bunch of bull?? IT was a black Magic Cocker. Atleast they didnt go under my seat and find my Ir3 It was kinda luck how it slipped off my back seat and slid under my seat. Total they took 2 pure energy Compressed air tanks, 1 Max flo (wasnt even mine), Revy, My freak kit. What should i say to get this back??

Explain to them what it is and say what TopCourage said it was an accident. Maybe you should say I accidently left in the car from the weekend.

Do they have the right to search your vehicle?
Well...they are not firearms in the strictest sense. They were not "loaded". You did not try to bring them onto school grounds nor conceal them. You play the sport, plain and simple. Let them know you're not some punk that shoots up stuff around the neighborhood, this is expensive gear and with a purpose. Let them know what field(s) you play at and that your parent(s) are fully aware of your activities and involvement in the sport.
Don't get emotional or huffy, just lay the facts out. Be mature and they should see that you are a responsible young adult and not a threat or a menace.
Hope this helps.

If that dont work get a lawyer. The school cannot possibly keep your marker and gear. They have no right in my mind. If nothing else before the lawyer have your parents go down there and recover your equipment. That should probably do it.

everyone here is right, and they have no right to search your car like that. they have violated the law and your personal rights, you should bring this up to them. plus just explain what it is and have some witness's.
you should hire a lawyer and try to get some money from them, adding extra stress to the already stressful life of a teenager in high school. having to stress over grades, which college your going to apply for, your SAT scores, etc.
(i have the best plans)

if i was you i would of told them to §§§§ off then left. theres no way i would of let some school rent a cop take my §§§§ (specially not 2 to 3 thousand dollars worth). when did this happen and what did your parents say??? anywa, hope you get your §§§§ back and if not try to find some way to sue for some reason.

All I know is that at my school there is a big rule about bringing a weapon onto campus, and by law a paintball gun counts as a weapon and if I were dumb enough to bring mine to school and leave it in the open where someone might see it, the school policy states I would be expelled.

in reality they'll screw you any way they want if you're under 18. If so, you'll need your parents to take care of this probably otherwise they'll probably just blow you off.

I'd find the guy who reported you, pop his tires & bang his daughter.

about the rules...at my school...and im almost sure that it is universal, if it is in plain line of sight it can be prosecuted......so basically saying if they see it, its gone...its the same thing with illicit drugs...

they have EVERY right to search your vehicle if you park it on their property. when you get a parking permit, read the fine print and it says it in there. however, they have NO right to confiscate your stuff. It is not a weapon, wasn't loaded, and had no air hooked up....that is straight up crap, too bad you can't sue school systems...
