I went to the Parker store to get some replacement hoses for the macro line and the fitting, the tech from Parker tested the hose that i had and said the working limit was for 625psi continous Presseur and the burst is at 1200psi.

the macro line fitting holds only 300psi to a max of 425psi..

If you look closly at the fitting with the air pressure on you will see the inserted collar being pused out and it looks like it going to pop out..

So I dont know about the macro lines i've seen on this fourm the fitting poping out and the hose bursting, is that about it notting serious....

So i like some advices if i should stick with macro line or go with a stainless Hose and a quick disconnect.

Or the hose I'm being told about from parker is not the same from WDP and the fitting arent the same either. If they arent were can I get it.

That has to be bull Shiznit I used macroline comeing straight out of a preset bottle at 850 psi and it didnt break i dont know what that gut was talking about. When the fitting gets pushed out thats when it grabs onto the line.

The fittings work fine way past 500psi, so I don;t know.

yeah, I'm running 850 psi through my macroline (using the hose and both fittings that came with the IR3) and no bursts/explosions/catastrophies. Works great.

macro blows up at around 1000 to 1200 psi .

I would politely suggest that guy is talking out of an orifice other than his mouth.

Or maybe this guy has a hold of some very unusual fittings and macroline.

Commonly available air fittings and macroline will hold 850 psi just fine. Look at the thousands of screw-in bottles that use these air fittings and pass air into a secondary reg. 425 psi...ya right.

Or if you run co3 through it.

If you're looking for 100% reliability (mainly in tournaments), the stainless hose is the way to go.

The macro is what I normally use. It's light, fast to set up and easy to work with. Just keep in mind that tight bends, scratched or worn lines are prone to failure, especially in warmer climates. We've had a few of the "softer lines" that are easy to bend, blow. It seems that some macro line brands are not very durable. Macro line color don't seem to matter, just the brand. When cut, the cross section of the line has to be round (not oval).

The fitting do occasionally leak, but that's are easy to remedy.
The fittings are designed to seal with pressure, so don't worry about the "loose" ends. Make sure the line is cut slightly long, the ends cut square and push the line in all the way into the fitting.

btw, the biggest problem we've encountered is either, not using teflon tape, or worst, improperly using the the teflon tape. Excess teflon tape is bad news inside marker internals.

When it comes to high pressure lines, if you want reliability, stick with quality, name brand stuff.
