View Full Version : Opto Trigger """question
I got a bran new ir3 with an opto board it's not my first angel....
And i'm wondering if it's normal that my trigger without spring is stiffer than an ir3 or lcd trigger with a trigger spring...??? and it make some sound when i move the trigger a lil "sqick" "squik" "squik"...
just wondering if i could do anything...?
Thanks

i'm not sure about the stiffness of the trigger but as for the trigger squeaking, if you shorten the trigger pull it will go away

grease the opto leaf, take out the spring and now it's much lighter

the leaf spring on the IR3's opto board is quite strong because there's no microswitch behind it so yeah, that's normal
the sound....well that's because you got 2 pieces of metal rubbing against each other....you can put a little oil on it, and it'll go away

You can also polish it, then grease it, to make it as smooth as possible.
