i just got a dark ir3 and when i shoot it it seems really loud compared to my friends angel, wonderingif it could be the settings?
heres what im useing 2k3 dark, 68/4500 pure energy preset tank, mini reg, my dwell is at 15. if that helps any

lower the dwell and input pressure (thor) but what difference does it make?

thanks, also have one more problem with it being very inconsistant and having balls basically rolling out of the barrel. havent gotten it set up with the tool kit yet but hopefully after thats been done its gonna be working fine

if the snap ring is adjusted correctly it will also change your sound signature.

could also be your lpr take a look at that, also what barrel are you using? some barrels are quieter than others

I am also going with the lpr. If you have it set higher than your friend's angel, that could affect the sound signature. (back off my terminology Emit!) And are you comparing this with or without paint. I find all guns to be loud without paint, to the point where I have a hard time telling the difference.

I'm a sniper. I whip out my 21'' thru flight barrel and poke poeple in the eye with it...

inconsistency could be from barrel to bore size match......sounds like ur balls are too small for the barrel.....try a larger sized paint

adjusted the snap ring seems to have helped, but still gonna check the lpr, but it was rippin really good, and it was quiter

sniper should never be used in paintball. if there is any ? as to the correct use of the word," sniper ",try shooting someone more than a mile away, then tell me its the same.

I think hes talken about my Angel :lol: but as soon as I can I will get there to check out all the shiznit to fix it up real good

sorry, i was making fun of the people who call themselves snipers. I really use a 10'' jt two piece and light up the fools who call themselves snipers
