Picked my Speed up today....

And searched this site...

What i need help with is...

1/ What side does the volumiser go on the right or the left side if your looking at it from the back?

2/ Can i get any replacement ball detents?

Since my Ball detents were on so tight.... SO tight when i tried to get them off to replace them with something more user friendly like alan key detents... i found the metal of the ball detents to be so soft it completely fell apart when put under any pressure with a screw driver... So now i have a Speed just under 6hours old... looking rather sorry for its self....

Oh yea just incase no one else has seen yet the detents are a different size to every other angel on the market... (Wicked Idea! :puzzled: )

the volumizer goes on the same side it always has.......

the detents are a different thread than previous Angels, and other than the Warped Iron cross ones, you're stuck with WDP's version.

what do you mean it "fell apart?" Volumizer goes on the Valve side.

I think he means the part where you would unscrew it, like the slit where you put the screwdriver head. When he turned it it was probably like pewter, which is easily bendable, he stripped the screw.

Incase their answers didn't help, the volumizer goes on the right looking from the back. Just to answer your question the way you asked =)

If you're aiming down the barrel, the volumizer goes on the right.

I don't understand how it just falls apart, or bends/breaks. If you need a replacement call up the place you got it from. If they can't help you, talk to the closest one of our sponsors. Almost all of them can send you the parts you need.

Sounds to me like he ripped up his detents (finish / slots) using a screwdriver to try to get them unscrewed.

somehwhat useful fact:
Pennies (as in USA Currency) work good at unsrewing the detents from the speed

that is quite possible, next time use a coin to unscrew the detents..
i heard that WDP made the detents so it can be unscrewed by a coin (everybody always caries some..)
