ehh you read PGI forums to eh?

i think that this is better, now dynasty will win evrything and ppl will have a harder time trying to blame that on something...

this will also mean better promoting for NPPL, and i thik it will really help out the NPPL

what I'm saying is that I remember reading something at the beginning of the year where Dynasty was it's own official entitiy...maybe it was just that they had started or something, I don't remember it all and of course by now it'd be damned hard to find it again.

As for what did Chuck do? Well I don't think he really did anything anymore for the team as he had dedicated himself to the Super7 so early on.

Will it make the event any better? I doubt it, I think it was more a mere formality to get rid of any chance that someone may try to say there was any undue influence or bias towards Dynasty based on their affiliation with Chuck and his position within the NPPL structure. I'm sure the events will still continue to be top notch and get better next year.

Some people thought that there was a conspiracy going on. They thought that dynasty was given an edge. Since they were always winning, Chuck didn't have to shell out any money for winning since he owned the NPPL and Dynasty. Now we know it's not true.

dynasty is a ****ing awesome team (excuse langauge)
i have and study many of there videos and watch the prefection they perform in tactical skill, combined the ball-z methods of opie you got a team thats going to sit on top and look down for along time, regardless of manager.
p.s. Remember dynasty vs russian legion in england, nice 3 bunkering action by that nut opie.

What's reading paint?

i'm assuming its knowing exactly where the shooter is in your minds eye by seeing the strings of paint as they go by and calculating in your head their origin, then being able to do it with multiple strings all at the same time. You basically get a mental image of where each opponent is on the field and then formulate what their next move will be by their placement.

Spacial orientation

i'm a complete newb when it comes to tourneys, but when you've played as many hours of ball in the pitch black of night, you get really good at knowing where everyone is by the sounds of markers and watching paintballs zing by with NVG

i'm gearing up with some of my scenario teammates to give the newb tourney scene a try in the spring.

I just gotta lose some weight first, heh.. i'm used to expending energy over 24 hours + of paintball, not a coupla minutes at a time

Yea, quick example about reading paint.
This was in the finals at eXtreme paintball's 5 man, March of 2001.

I'm stuck in a lay down can, on our left 30. I have multiple bunkers in front of me with no clear lines. (horrid bunker to be in man). I scream to my back guy where the other team is, he can only see 3 guys.

So I look up and watch where the paint is comming from, bam ok I know there's a guy in the dorito on the right tape, so I fire back along his incoming stream at his bunker. I angle it a bit up and down to cover his sitting/standing position. Whack right in the hopper, we're 1 up.

Now I edge out a bit and see the next stream comming from the stand up cone in the back center. Again, follow the paint to know he's out on the left side. Whack gog shot, with him jumping up and down screaming mad. We're up 2.

Now while this is going on, I have ZERO view of anything other than a lay down can at the 50 and paint traveling above it.
We roll the rest of the game and take 2nd.

The hardest part about it is the timing, you can't focus on one guy for too long, just rain some paint down the stream and move on to the next guy.
