Hello,
i'd post this in the AIR forum but it's pretty dead. How easy is it to disassemble the entire AIR reg, so i can anodize the body?

thanks,
matt

pretty easy actutally, I have dont it to just see what it looks like inside and to rebuild it. The Manual actually does a pretty good job of explaining it also.

It's not dead, it's that nobody has had any recent problems, and then when someone does they post it somewhere else!!!!!!

There's not a lot to it......remove the bottle, remove the 4 screws, and then pull everything out....

You'll need a special tool to screw out the very center. Just remember how everything came out and you'll have no problems getting it together again.

If some people could post some good pictures of the manual (I don't have one), i could look at the disassembly diagrams and just use those...

you don't need the special tool to get the center out. I have unscrewed with my hands, a pliers can be used, ect.

i need to take EVERYTHING out, electronics and all. There doesnt seem to be a good diagram of how to get the electronics out on the website. Is this easy as well?

If you take everything out/off, You will need an Tech to reassy. it. The tech will have to cal. it.

Just send it to a tech to rebuild. My personnel pref. is TAG in Dalton Ga.

There is actually a calibrating section in the AIR manual. Which you will need to know how to do so that you can recalibrate the reg every time you unscrew the tank or change the batteries.
