Does anyone know how they did this? Is it a plastic piece that gets fatter as you screw a certain way, and has a permanent set screw? I'm just making this stuff up because I have no idea how they did this. Anyone know?

the screw probly has a threaded hole in the middle in wich the trigger ajust screws go into, i dunno if that made any sense to you or not, here is a crappy pic i made in paint

The trigger has a couple of fixed pins, one at each end of the horizontal part. The wheels effectively have a slope on one surface, so that as you rotate a wheel you'll be moving the pin underneath and thus that end of the trigger up or down as appropriate. Hopefully that made sense. :)

according to Russ the set screws are there to lock the wheels in place to ensure that you can't make any adjustments on the field.

thats right emmit, but when you adjust the tig and you tighten the set screws it moves the little adjusters, makeing your perfect tig into a non work POS. :)

or you could hold the wheels so they don't move

There are set screws on each side of the grip. They felt pretty firm, once you tighten them down I doubt you'll have trouble with the trigger moving.
