I was just a little dissapointed after purchasing my used IR3 when I found out it didn't have an automatic mode. I play in places where I could use full auto so it would be nice to have. Do I need a special chip or some sort of Angel computer interface jawn or what? Anyone have full auto on their Ir3?

not in the US or Canada. Both are locked out to comply with ASTM recommendations.

there are currently a couple of guys on here that are in the process of cracking the software and they seem to be very close, if you're lucky it might be out by next month :)

I highly doubt that the new Angel 4's will be unlokced either for the reason stated above...

ASTM isn't a law it's a standard. All they can do is recommend things, they can't enforce anything. To be truthful just about anyone can be on the ASTM board. All you have to do is have some experience in the field which you want to be on the board for.

does any one have a loader to keep up w/fully auto? what good does it do if you cant feed that fast?
Emmit

sure.....just about every loader can keep up with that, it's only 13bps...Evlutions, Revs with x-boards, Halo's.....all can easily do this

yes all multishot modes are capped at 13, that's been known since the LCD's.
also one of the reasons why a lot of people couldn't care less about them. :dunno:

news to me, my c&c is my first angel. if 13 bps is it ? the big deal?

some people just want to be able to shoot multiple shots with one pull:dunno:
it was cool when I bought my LED years ago...although back then you were still aloud to do it every once in a while.....since everything is semi only nowadays, it's not really worth it anymore, additionally as you stated 90% of all players can pull more than 13bps anyways, the only thing you're getting out of the multi shot modes anymore is no more movement of the gun however slight with each new pull.

yes but as you are obviously not new to pb does or does not the person/s you are shooting at move also?

nope.....they are always in the back bunker with a hopper full of paint standing in groups of 10 or more....
sarcasm people, sarcasm
the thing is that in a Scenario game (the only place you can use these modes) there are usually about 100+ targets on the other side of the 50.....pull the trigger and you're bound to hit someone

hey whats wrong w/back players? i know what you are trying to say, but its no real challenge to "shoot the group" of beginers in the back crouched behing the first bunker on the field

it's the only thing online that I can't stand......because it's so hard to know when someone is being sarcastic, especially since sarcasm is such a tone of voice thing.

yes i can see your point of view, yes its a tone thing and its also knowing the person using it.

yeah......if you don't know the person at all, it's really dangerous because you never know how they'll take it.....oh well....
