I just took a look at the a4 and I read something about a bounce mode. Is that like the D-bounce on the timmies? I have no idea what this really does but all I know is the CLASS timmy I shot had it and it shot faster than anything I ever seen. I hope that is what it is. Oh yeah, is WDP still advertising 12 modes that are not available anywhere except for Mars or are they changing it for the A4s. Dude, I want one now. If anyone wants an ir3 for cheap, let me know. I will negotiate.

All modes are open.
Including semi, auto, burst, ramp, and programable modes.

There is a bounce sensitivity mode where you can adjust it between 1-20

bounce mode. Can you say "gimmick?" Kind of sad that a company like wdp would give in to something like that. I can rail just as fast as any timmy on my speed, and no one has to check if my bounce is set to high. I'm not a big fan of cheater modes, and it is kind of upsetting that a reputable company like wdp needs them to compete with a gun that is of obvious lower class.

That dose not necessarily mean that you can cheat with it.
It is designed for those of you who like a very short and light trigger, but would not want to risk it bouncing, and getting penalized for it.

This way you can adjust your trigger to your liking, and adjust any bounce tendencies out.

yeah, that's what people are going to use it for, just like they do on the timmies. Wait a sec, that would be in a perfect world. Don't get me wrong, I love paintball and think it is the greatest sport on earth, but I have seen enough to not be so optimistic about the ethics of the players and their actions to know that debounce will never be used for good and ethical reasons. I own a speed, and like to shoot fast, but let's get real about it, the game is about who gets hit FIRST, not about who gets hit MORE. Shooting fast is no measure of your skill on the field, and I have seen too many little kiddies with timmies that think it is. Skill first, speed later! Peace!

I think they are all open, but all the other modes are capped at 13 bps.

no they weretn at that game, or at least i didnt see them. the commentor was like "here we go again... lasoya getting a gun confiscated for full auto like triggering" everyone was laughing.. it was a good game between miami and chicago. chicago had them down like 9 to 3 but miami came back in final 7 minutes, the final was like 10-7 or something close.. but teh worst was def oakland on pernalties... like every other " game" they ahd a penalty for playing on.

Lasoya needs to be punished, I hate that guy. Dirty player.

No one will know what the debounce settings will do unless they've messed with them. No one has enough info at this point in time.

today lasyoa played good, i dont think there was any penalties in their game today, he has givin high 5's to ppl and receiving them. and chicago had one gun taken off cuz off too much bounce... rich telford was commentating and said he needs to trade that full auto gun for another full auto gun.. it was pretty funny, today oakland didnt receive one penalty that i saw, but lost to baltimore 7-6 or 8-9 i cant remember...

Lasoya is the best paintball player to step foot on the field, hands down,no ands ifs or buts,The debounce feature in my opinoin should not be a mode in any gun,Companys should not do the debounce feature, its a cheaters mode and it can hurt someone like lasoya did to that kid awhile back, chris just had the debounce to low and when he bunkered that kid and the gun went full auto,
but i'm sure some people will complain about it more in the future of the debounce feature,

Debounce setting is a feature of current WAS boards in Timmys. In future boards (v3.x and higher), manual debounce settings will be replaced by new programming that senses how fast the trigger is being actuated and automatically adjusts the debounce to prevent bounce from occuring. It actually permits higher rofs without risking bounce. (At least that's the way I recall this information from a different forum.)
I know that if I set my Timmy's debounce to 1 ms I can easily exceed 20bps but so can anyone else that checks my gun. No one should be getting into a tournament game without getting checked for bounce on these guns. If it bounces, they play without a gun. Even in rec ball, it's pretty easy to hear a gun shooting with a lot of bounce. Just walk over and try the trigger yourself. More than one shot per pull and the guy sits out until he can correct the problem.
You can only set a debounce of 1 ms with a special trigger combination which is too difficult to do if you're playing a closely reffed game. In order to reset it, all you have to do is to use the LCD membrane buttons (on appropriate models) but again, that takes time. In tournaments, the Timmy should be in tournament lock mode anyway so again, check them before they go on the field.
Can't speak on the A4 since I haven't tried it out yet. I've seen a few 20bps+ on Timmies that weren't aired up (therefore no way to get bounce) but I've never seen 30bps+ without bounce.

was v 2.5 and higher have debounce 1ms locked out, so 2 ms is the next closest setting. i know from personal experience from using my friends shocktech that on debounce 2 its really hard to get that trigger to bounce, but that was the way he had his set up, not too short but not too long on the pull. he can only acheive 20 bps in a short instant, but i can pull a constant 22 bps... w/ paint, the gun has virtually no kick to it... bounce really depends on how short the pull is and how much kick the gun has

edit* i even changed his debounce setting to see if i really was achieving that high of a rof, i but debounce on 5, same 22 bps w/ paint.

You actually can set the debounce to 1 ms by using the trigger only on 2.6 and probably 2.7 as well, not that it adds to this discussion.

I like that the 4s are gonna have the de bounce thing. It would be fun for showing off how fast you can shoot.
