Ir3 and lcd bolts are the same size, but the IR3 bolts have a little cut out for the cops rod..they can be used in either though.

ok thanks one more question though...do you think it will screw up the ball detent or the cops if it doesnt have the grooves cut out for it
only the COPS rod will it effect if it doesnt have the groove on the bottom. But if you dont use COPS and your COPS rod is broke off clean with the breech already then go ahead and use it.

Not messing with you one bit but since you said you use COPS dont use the bolt you found.

if, as you say, you've already put it in your ir3 and dry fired it then your cops rod will already be damaged.

this is likely a correct assumption
without that groove in the bolt, you've likely cut the tip of your rod clean off. This will mean you will not get an accurate reading when your balls drop into the breech. I would suggest you check your COPS rod that is currently in the marker, and replace it if necessary.

You can just put the cops groove into the bolt with a little bit of sanding. Hell, you can put grooves for the ball detents too, if ya feel like it.

personally i dont think i would do that. by the time your done, you've either missed a spot and will be damaging your cops again, or by the time your done, you've decreased efiecency to the point it wasnt worth the labor because the stock bolt it better
