Refs

My appologies if this is repetitive... Something needs to be done about the refs in paintball. I guess we can't bring in the real refs from Europe for every tourney, but sh!t , we have to do something. On Sunday in NJ, I watched a game where Vicious was playing. The other team can around for a bunker attempt, but got tagged. The guy from Vicious didn't appear to be hit, and kept playing. Then he crouched down, reveiling a bright pink hit on his black pants caked in dark brown mud - very obvious. It appeared that the refs didn't see it, so the crowd started yelling, "check his leg, ref!" Two refs walked over and looked at him, then walked away. They must have seen the hit. After the game, a big fat guy came over and yelled at everyone that the refs would make the calls. I video taped the whole thing. I know cheating is a problem too, I won't even start on the game between Naughty Dogs and Ton Tons, but good reffing can help crack down on cheating. If we want this sport to go somewhere, it's time to grow up and act responsable.

I'm just going to close this one.....as there's already been enough venting and bickering and debate about it in the other thread.

Although I will make one point........those people watching that were yelling....could've very well cost the opposing team points as it could've been considered sideline coaching :wink:
