This is my first angel air so please excuse my ignorance. When i gas up my Air, it instantly starts leaking from the safty vent. I bought it used, so should i by a repair kit and replace all the orings and disc, or could it be something else

Apoc, when you filled the tank, did you do it fast or slow? Filling the AIR fast can result in the safety leak. Ideally you'd want to have the o-rings on the rocket assembly replaced & that should be all that is needed, other than remembering to fill slowly. :)

Edit: Unless you're leaking even when the AIR output is off, in which case it would most probably indicate a duff main seal. In that case I'd recommend taking/sending it to a service center/qualified tech.

while i filing it up, and when im finished it is leaking, its not a small leak, its a very bad leak. I pretty sure we were filling it slow. This going to sound stupid, but never used one of these, but do i turn the output pressure off, by turning the allen screw on the front of the tank? Because it did not start leaking from safty vent untill i messed with that, trying to get the pressure down

that's your over pressure relief....check to make sure you have your set screw all the way out to ensure that you're not putting pressure on the reg, the LCD should display Lo-P, if it's releasing pressure out of the safety vent, the LCD most likely reads Hi-P which means you've exceeded the 850psi. The next thing you will want to look at is replacing all 3 of your rocket O-rings, and even possibly your main seal. I would seriously recommend a full rebuild and greasing of the reg at this point. It could possibly fix your problems, and catch future ones at the same time.

I really appreciate the info. One more problem, i have searched the net for instructions on how to disassemble the Air, and cannot find any that are very specific. Do either of u happen to know a good site, or walk through for doing so.

Apoc, not sure about a walk through on the web - the manual does provide a good guide if you're fairly experienced at teching. You'd need to buy the AIR tool kit to fully maintain the system & unless you really prefer to do your own teching, I believe that you'd be better off letting a qualified tech do the work.
