I'm looking to get a pair of slider shorts. Its a toss up between the JT Skinz, or the 2K3 Dye Slide Shorts. What would you guys suggest? I want "member" protection most of all, but thats not too uncomfortable.
*There wasn't really a category for this but I wanted to ask what you guys all think*

I have the dye ones, they seem to work well, they have a bult in soft cup that is removable. The have pretty good hip protection too for when you do baseball slides.
the Jt's have a built in cup/pad too, mine work great.

the Dye ones are better, they feel more like its a boxer, instead of going into a battle with a terminator..

Alright, so it seems Dye is the way to go. I just don't want to be too crowded below the belt....he likes to be protected, but comfortable....

so the dye ones would prevent pain to the "spot"? as in would it still hurt?
deathmaster...yes they will prevent MOST pain to the spot..
you are the deathmaster living in the bowels of hell, what are you worried about pain for? :dunno:

theyre still not 100% pain-proof though, and they make the err "spot" very warm

yeah I know, but like everything else in paintball, things are overpriced, because it's not as popular as other things, but hey what are you gonna do. They work well.
You have to sacrifice comfort for pain. With cups for example, you wont be able to tell you got hit there, really, but the bad thing is they are not comfortable. On the other hand, you have the soft cup which you will feel the impact more, but in over all, it will be more comfortable to wear. After all, most paintballers don't sit in one spot, they mostly run, slide, jump skip and hop.

Well, the thing is, I mostly play up front, so I need some protection but mobility as well. Shots to that region are rare, your always behind a bunker or if your crouching your legs block the area, I just want a safety measure incase a stray paintball finds it way to the family jewels. I'm sure I can take a slight hit, I just don't want a full on castration shot so to speak. Dye it is, I'm getting them as soon as the Pro Shop orders them for me.
