hey i was just wondering what does the a.c.e do and how would it be on an ir3.

its an optical anti chop eye like the one on the eblade or impulse to help prevent chopping. it is sensitive to how clean it is and the color of paint. cops2 works better and comes with the ir3 the ace is externally mounted and drilled and would cost more to add on and will take away from the guns looks

actually ace isnt sensitive to paint color, and the gun will not shoot unless a ball is in the chamber, cops will shoot with a delay, which can still cause a chop

Depends on the ace, some have problems with dark or black paint.

no, any angel with ACE has the break beam ACE. impulses, eblades, etc use reflective sensors. angel ACE uses a break beam sensor, it allows the gun to shoot whenever something breaks the infrared beam like on timmys, revvys, etc. it works WAY better than any COPS system IMO and is well worth the money

There is a bloke here in the UK that does ACE upgrades to IR3's and one of the firing modes allows up to 30bps aparently!

Yes, here is the info I have so far for the gentleman that does them in the UK, I have asked for more and will add it as I get it...

i manufacture the eye's and fit them, it is not available as a kit at the moment, markers must be sent to me for modification
turnround is 1-2 weeks

there are 3 modes of fire after modification(all semi auto)
mode 1, safe mode(eye on) (default mode)
turn marker on in the normal way, the marker will not fire unless there is a ball fully in the breach. MAX ROF 20 bps
mode 2, eye off
holding in the trigger whilst turning on the marker deactivates the eye. MAX ROF 20 bps
mode 3, special(eye on)
holding in the trigger for 3 sec's whilst turning on the marker deactivates the original angel board and all bulls**t functions,
this mode is purely for speed freaks. the new add-on board is capable of firing upto 66 bps, although angels are mechanicaly limited to around 30 bps...

I have an ACE on my IR3 (optoboard), and I am very happy of this item. My cops with MEM6 has never worked and now I can shoot 17bps (with an EGG) and have no balls chopped.

actually, like someone already said, it is a beam break system, completely different than an impulse eye (impulse eye's suck). Any solid object will "break" the "beam" and therefor allow your marker to shoot as normal. However, when there is no ball, or half a ball (considering the eye is drilled towards the bottom of the breach), your gun will not fire.

It is compareable to an intimidator eye. More so the Eggi eye found on NYX matrixes

the eye was invented by a guy we call Eggi from Finland. He just created new software too about 2 weeks ago, Warped LA installs the same eye, but is done by Glenn instead of Eggi. Glenn still does a kick ass job.

Cops sucks, it will always suck, most pros actually take the sensor out of their guns. Cagnoni doesnt have his sensi rod in his speed, SK always takes the cops outta his ir3s, probably speeds also. Sensi, cops, button, rod, whatever you wanna call it, it doesnt work. If an ir3 cops user can take a video of him ripping on a VL200 non agitated hopper without breaking one ball, i will be amazed, I've seen it happen on an ACED lcd and an ACED ir3, never has it worked with Cops 1 or 2.

I completly agree with for the ACE. Do you now what is this new software from EGGY.

I m looking for pictures about the NYX ACED Matrix. I m interested by the setup of the eye.

honestly, im not sure what the new software is, i just know its new, havent checked with warped yet. on an NYX, (all nyx matrixes are aced) the eye comes out of the front of the gun in a tube kinda idea, screws in to the front by breach. Reminds me of a tape worm for an impulse

Got any picturs of an IR3 with Eye installed? Sounds really interesting to me. I used to love the Eye on my eBlade. It worked perfectly and absolutely reliable (although it was a reflective eye). I'd prefer an ACE over the COPS any time.
