Ok so I called the Cali office of WDP and asked some questions about the "A4". Before I could get the first question out of my mouth... the representative "Bob" explained that it was not called the A4 and it was plainly the "4".

I took this in stride and went about my business asking questions. He said that after New Jersey... we could start pre-ordering the new 4. He said that 1-2 months later we would have a 4 in our hands.


Just thought I would come by here and let you guys know.

wdp needs to take care how they call it cause the german car brand audi calls one of their cars a4

do you mean A5?

I donlt think just 4, is a good name, it doesn't have a nice ring to it and if someone asks you what type of gun you havem yo ucan't just say "Ihave a 4", you have to say I have a WDp angel 4", well I dunno:dunno:

WDP Really has sucked at making names for guns lately...........first the "SPEED", now the "4". Those have to be the corniest names out there............

yep...

Mos said the new angel would ship on august 21, wdp says 1-2 moths after NJ..WHICH ONE IS IT..im gunna be gunless for a few more months

yeah I'm just calling it the IR4. "4" sucks the more I think about it.

i think he probably thought you were calling it the angel a4, which isnt the name, we call it the a4 which is short for angel 4 so same thing, i doubt you would get the box and it would just say 4 and not angel 4

I dont care what they call it... I Just wanna know when I can buy one? not this PREORDER crap. I want a tracking number the same night I give them my CC number.

i was more of a nik/power rangers/poke**** guy, not samurai jack n stuff. now i kinda get it, theres this one baboon...who says IR Baboon....lol....

i just preordered it cus i though wtf, it has a lifetime warrenty, and i really want an angel!

you dont have an angel? what have you been shooting all this time, and yea i used to watch more nickelodean than cartoon network too, and power rangers when i was in like 3rd/4th grade lol, aaahhh those were the days *sigh* :)

I'll continue to call it the A4 because it sounds better, whatever WDP calls it is up to them, but I have a feeling to the general public its going to be known as the "A4".

at this point in time that is not possible. They have not been released or even shipped to the US yet. I talked to Ken last week and he was saying that the techs were getting their hand son one this week at the NPPL event. I believe that Ron said they are expecting to ship them out on like the 21st or something like that.

Latest in the UK is that they might not even be available to buy until after Campaign Cup here (12 Sept - 14 Sept), and even then, only very small quantities... We haven't even had a price set here yet!

I know this thread is getting a bit off the subject, but I will respond anyway.

I would imagine that the first few shipments of Angel 4's will be distributed among the WDP service centers, and a few others.
This being said, each locations will only recieve X number of Angel 4's, and just as when he speeds were released, the preorders would be filled with whatever came in first. That means that if you wanted to purchase an Angel 4 directly, you would have to wait until the 3rd or 4th shipment. The angel 4 is due out 3 weeks after New Jersey, so if you add that to the 3rd or 4th shipment you are looking at sometime in November.

a4 is the best name for it, and if you think 4 is bad the (g7) what the hell are they thinking, but t be oest all angel names suck
