WDP has taken steps apparently to make the iR3 circuit boards less volatile than the LCD version, which is notorious for going out for little or no reason.

My question is, for those who own or see a lot of iR3s, have the problems that plagued LCD boards been resolved in the iR3s?

To me this is a critical issue of reliability, seeing as I know more LCD owners that had to get replacement boards than those that didn't.

thanks

The day after I got my iR3 the MEM4 board went bad. It wasnt a critical issue, just annoying. What happened was Whenever I put it from live into safe it would vibrate 4 times and then lock, it would not go back to live or to any of the menus. To get back to live I had to turn it off and on again and I would have to do that for the menus also.

You need special tools to take apart angels, most people don't want to bunk out the cash to do buy tools, so they fiddle with the only part of the gun they can without money, the board.
