Thor Reg on a 2k3?

Hello!!!

Quick question... if I were to throw a Thor Regulator on my 2k3 Angel, what pressure should I set the Thor Reg and my Reg on my gun at??? I'm using a 68/3000 PSI Any help or input is greatly appreciated!!! Thanks

Im confused with that myself. People say that 600-650 is good, but im not really sure how regulators work, and what output pressure is.

I would reccomend against the Thor. It would restrict air flow more than stabilize it. WDP reccomends about 750 into the mini reg, but lots of people run it at 600-650, like flippulse said. But running the preset into it is not hurting anything at all.

warpedx, would you know how much does the mini-reg regulate? or put into the gun? Whats the operating pressure on the 2k3 LCD anyway?

The 2K3's have the iR3 internals, operating pressure is 400-500 I think.

So the mini-reg would bring it down to that, even with a preset?

No problem. The only mini reg that might have an issue are the new speed regs. And that's only if input has crept above 850psi.

Thanks again. One more question, lets say i have and adjustable which i took the output pressure down to 600, what difference would that make over a preset?

You should be fine with preset. The thor reg only goes from 300-600 and WDP does recommend 700-750.
