um....u will probably have to sand the end down a bit to be the same length as the end cap! if they are the same length then there is nothing you need to do. The reason u need to sand them down is becasue if they are longer than the end cap was it will extend into the LPR to far and starve it of air, and basicly make it worse!

no, u don't want to adjust ur lpr. it works fine at the stock 80 or so and shouldn't be adjusted. most of the people who drop them end up gettin drop off.

Volumizers lower the operating pressure, but you leave the LPR alone, you lower your operating pressure through your mini reg. Depending how big the cobra volumizers are you might only drop the operation pressure by around 50 psi. Dual volumizers don't drop your pressure any more than just the one on the Valve side, the one on the lpr side is just for looks

once you put on the volumizer you can up your dwell a little too

don't i wanna keep my dwell as low as i can what would be the reasons to raise my dwell?

raise your dwell you'll lower the pressure and the gun will be gentler on paint.

oh ok i was backwards i thought lowering the dwell was being gentle on paint thanks for the clarification

Speed volumizers go on the same side as the old LCD's right. Looking at the front of gun, left side?

My local Angel tech said that the Speed is the first Angel where a volumizer has any effect at all, and that you can place on both the left and the right side.
Technically you can. They are connected by a passage of air near the caps. A volumizer on either side will work, but I don't think one on the LPR side will do as much as one on the valve side.

Modified the dwell setting text for the LCD to be accurate for the SPEED.
---
To ensure the Dwell time is set correctly first set the gun at a constant velocity, e.g. 300fps. Then Turn the Dwell up all the way. The gun is then at its least efficient setting. Gradually turn the Dwell down, while firing the gun over a chronograph, you will hear the noise signature of the gun change, when the chrono reading starts to drop turn the Dwell up and ensure your chrono reading is consistent, the Angel is now at its most efficient setting. If you turn the valve dwell down too much you will starve the valve of gas to propel the ball at the specified velocity. If the Dwell is set too high the gun will sound very loud and inefficient.

ok, i have a question, i haven't gotten my volumizer yet, but im thinking about something. the plastic rod, or whatever it is behind the valve, what happens to that when u put a volumizer on? does it catch around the inside of the volumizers, or go up into it. im guessing its for valve return, and that you need it in there. please help me.

I think it cathes around the inside of the volumizer as it would with the end cap on - thats why the volumizers need to be shaved down to the same length as the end plug in order not to restrict the internals.

ok thanks, i just wanted to make sure it wouldn't go into the volumizer

the plastic rod is as wide as the tube itself, as long as you have something Plug or volumizer screwed in it will stay where it should

i noticed that the cobra volumizers extend past the stock cap a bit, enough to affect performance? i'm not sure...but, i put an o-ring on mine to allow it to not screw in as far and mimic the stock one. As for the cosmetic one, i took it off cuz i think it was causing velocity inconsistancies. Anyone else have problems with 2 volumizers?

I put 2 Dye volumizers in... Other than lowing the operating pressure very slightly I did not notice anything. I didn't have any ball breaks before, and I don't have any now...
I was also told to shave down the ends to match the stock cap ends, but it did absolutely nothing.
and all this applies to any voluemizer like the new LPC thats on the angel guy does anyone have that on their gun, cause i am looking to order one of those any suggestions.
