2k3 lcd questions

if i ever need to replace the ram or other internals for it would i get the ir3 internals because it is suppose to have all ir3 internals? i have heard yes and no to this question. can someone please clarify it?

the internals from the 2k3 are the same from the IR3

LPR's were the same in all LCD's, the LED's and the IR3 (it only changed in the Speed/4)

the Ram is the same. valve etc...
