View Full Version : Shocktech stubby drop forward problems

first let me say i am anything but a newbie but when i first joined I poster a reply in drop forward yay or nay and I wqas told that a smaller drop forward would lower velocity so i got a shocktech stubby drop and then i tried sliding my kapp on/off on the bottom of the shocktech drop but it just keeps sliding right off what is the problem?:confused:

never mind all i had to do was take a look at it and figure iy out sorry for wasting your time

well first off, small drops dont lower velocity, they lower the amount of kick for mostpeople because with a longer tank, you have a more stable marker when your shouldering. Next, your not wasting anyone's time. That's what forums are for, you ask stupid questions, they get answered you learn and more and more people learn that way. A few years back before the online paintball community was really small, everyone bought into the Cockers shooting farther and more accurate hype. Now that the online community is getting bigger and bigger, more people are learning what's hype and whats real, so dont worry about nothing.

ya did i say velocity i meant kick but thanks for the support anyway

I have the same drop on my ir3 with a pmi 5k 68.

locktite it and tighten it a little more than you think you should. mine is chrome so I think the allen screw end doesnt get a good grip on the on/off base till it makes a mark in the flat surface on the base.
