I need help setting up my speed. I have a 12vt. revy w/x-board and a choice between using a dye throttle 800psi (very light), a adjustable nitro duck tank(heavy), or a nitro tank 400psi. I have been trying to use the dye tank because it is so lightweight. I am new to the angel world and have just stepped up from a peice of **** spyder. I set up the sensi everytime i shoot by firing 5 times slowly. It never fails to break a ball every time I start to rip on it. I have been using sensi mode 3 and I have my dwell up to 14. I don't know how to change my lpr.I also plan on someday getting a halo b and a dirt volumizer but I just bought the speed and I am short on cash. How can I make this gun the balls.

Leave your dwell at 14, you shouldn't have to shange that. To check your lpr pressure, you need a tool kit. It's about $40-50, but you can see if your shop has one, or you might be able to find someone at the field with one on hand.
If you like the dye tank, and the marker is consistant with it on, then go ahead and use it, you'll be fine. Check the manual about sensi. You don't shoot to set it up, you do a drop ball test on it, to see if you need to make it more or less sensitive to the paint you're using.
good luck man.

YOu could use the dye. But I would reccoment the adjustable or low pressure preset you have. Otherwise, do everything warped said.

Try running your SENSI on Mode 2.

I did change my dwell. It was set on 11 from factory. I did a drop test on it last night again about 30-40 times and it passed everytime. So I guess the sensi is working fine. It is set on mode 3 because it is for slower hoppers and it will not fire if there is not a ball on the sensi, but yet every time I rip the speed breaks a ball. I shoot it yesterday and a ball broke inbetween the bolt and body causing a jam.

ya I'm sick of it. I am taking my freak kit back today and trading it for a halo b. I'm thinking that the hopper is more important than having a barrel for every kind of paint. The stock barrel is good enough for now.

Just to check. ;)
Are you sure that you have sensi on? Check that the sensi light is turned on.

Also leave your dwell to stock unless you are experiencing low first ball problems or have added a volumizer. Dwell 14 might be good for the IR3 but too high for the speed.
WarpedX has given you also bad advice on the calibration of your marker. The sensi ball drop test is only to verify that your sensi is working at ALL. To calibrate you shoot 5-6 balls slowly then rip. I would leave the LPR alone for now. It's all in the manual.

Check also your batteries for the revi and maybe remove the gated feed it might be too stiff (prob. not).

I honestly don't think a Halo B will be the answer to all your problems. After all it might increase your problems.
Try lowering your dwell to like 10ms and rip w/ sensi mode 3 (yea...make sure it's on). When I tried ripping a few days ago my sensi was preventing me from ripping because it was doing its job   . I got pissed because I wanted to rip (lol) and turned it off. I was ripping and then all of a sudden gas came rushing out of the breech. My bolt pinched a ball pretty badly and it took alot of force pushing it back. Suxored too... I thought I broke my gun.

I've never heard of many people going up to 14ms with their speeds on any tank. I run mine at 10ms with an 850 preset and it works like a dream...try lowering your dwell and see wut happens..

my gun would not shoot yesterday on 9 or 10ms. It would just put a ball in the barrel, no air. When I turned it up to 11 it worked but with major fall off.

What i have found is that the same thing happens to me if i don't adjust the hammer so there is a little resistance when i close the breach. I don't know why this happens but as long as there is resistance no chops, if there is no resistance then it chops.

Hmmm, you charged this sucker a few times?
Strange thing with your dwell having to be so high. I would send it to your shop for looking over.
