Hey everyone,
I have a leak coming from my exhaust valve, how easy are these to fix? I do not have an angel tool kit right now. It is probably just an o-ring on the exhaust valve though, I tried oiling it but it made no difference. My proshop wouldn't touch it........ Should I try to fix it myself or just send it straight back to Warped Sports where I bought it to have them fix it?

The seal for the exhaust valve is attached the the valve stem, and this is sold as one piece. You just gotta get at the valve, pull it out, pop in a new one and you're set. Don't know wh your shops afraid of it, do they have a certified tech? If you have to send it, as in mail it to warped, try it yourself first. If you can just take it there, give it to them and they'll do it in minutes for you.

Thanks Warpedx-
I figured it out, the o-ring on the exhause valve has a tiny little slice in it and that's causing the leaking. I'm going to have to get a new one. Hopefully Warped Sports will send me one....

The o-ring is easily sliced by the threads of the tube when installing. This can cause a leak later on after wear occurs to the o-ring.

Try warped. Seeing as you bought it there, they might hook you up for free. They're pretty good about service.

I am having the same problem of leaking out of my exhaust valve. Today was the first time I had used my speed and towards the end of the day it began to leak. Explain how to replace the o-ring.
RTFM,
It's all very well explained in the manual, dude.. read it.

Well an exaust calve leak can be caused by 1 of 2 things.
1) A damaged or dirt exhast valve pin seat.
2) An exhaust valve body o-ring.
A spare exhaust valve body o-ring (I will bet 100 bucks) can be found at your local hardward store. It is a passive o-ring and is simple black. Also check your parts kit. It might be the same o-ring as the LPR piston o-ring (but I am not sure).
A leaky valve pin seat needs a whole not seat. These are not cheap and both peices should cost about 10 bucks shipped. Call TAg or Angel Parts or any qualified service cente rand they will bust that shiznit out to you.
To replace: take off the non LPR cap, the left one if the gun is shooting at you, remove the spacer and the return spring and the valve pin should simply fall out. lightly oil a new one with love juice and drop it back in.
The valve body is a little more labor intense. Complete the action above and then take off your space frame (disconnect the wires as well) on the bottom of the frame you need to take the pin out that holds in the valve body. Once that is out take out your ram as well. Use a wooden dowel (or a fuzzy squeegie) to push the valve body out. Put all new o-rings on (every o-ring that is servicable - you might as well...) and slide the body back in. Be careful to attempt to line up the pin hole before sliding it back in (use love grease on the outside before sliding it in to make things easier). Put the pin back in and then put the marker back together.
Set your ram (per the manual) and you should be all set.
Now say thankyou for all my typing.
