do the different type of hamers effect the kick of the marker? i would think that with a heavier hammer IE stainless steel there migth be less kick, but then again it is a heavier mass and whe moving this migth make the kick worse.

any insight on this would eb great im considergin buying a ss speed hammer if it will reduce the little to no kick my speed already has.

How can i reduce the sound on my gun, it sounds a little loud?
My Current settings are
Dwell:3 lights
input pressure :300 PSI @ 275 FPS
LPR:Stock

How can i make it more effecient? by adding a volumizer would i not be dropping the input pressure but in turn making it more of a gas hog ? And when the volumizer is added will i be able to drop my LPR to 60 PSI as advertised?

looking forward to replys

i dont think a diff hammer will change the kick noticably, i mean how much difference is there in mass? a few milligrams, wont really make much diff

and about the sound, you can lower it by lowering the dwell and also by adding a volumizer and lowering you input wil probably also make it somewhat quieter

I just lubed the two holes in front of my hammer, It makes it sooooo much quieter.

I lubed in front of my hammer, and in the hole in front of that.

brass is heavier than ss, and your not suppose to lube the hammer

Actually I'm pretty sure the stainless weighs more. Lowering your LPR will reduce kick, but is it really that much of a problem? My speed's kick isn't bad at all...... Nothing compared to a cocker....

the kick really isnt a problem but i woudl like to get ti as low as possible.

also how low can i lower the LPR if i use a standard WDP 4" volumizer? also what should i run input wise into the mini reg, i have a LP max flow.

Thanks

I wouldn't suggest lowering the LPR at all. You can lower your input pressure though. Run your input pressure at whatever it takes you to get to your desired velocity.
