I'm HOPING to win a 68ci 4500psi Max Flo off ebay, but either way I plan to get a max flow. I play most positions. I don't have a team or anything but when I play rec ball or stuff like that I usually go mid or front.

Id just bolt it onto the gun. The space frame does not feel good with a drop forward 68.....and many people agree with me. I have my conquest mounted straight onto the gun. I even turned around the dovetail backwards because it was so tight that I couldn't even hold the grip. Now it is nice, tight and comfy....I love it.

yeah, with a 68 u shouldnt need too much of a drop forward, but if u really want one, get a short one....

no rail needed in my opinion. there is an article that a guy at one of my loacal fields made on why not to have a drop. I will post the link, and for the most part I agree, but if you have a 45 frame and a bigger tank than 68, you will probably need one to be comfortable.

ok here it is:
1. They cost too much money.
2. If you use them after an extended period of time your back starts to cramp up. With no drop it makes the gun longer wearing down your biceps. hmm building muscles in your arms and shoulders or your back?
3. Your gun has to be to the side of your mask. If you come out with it on the outside the opposing player will shoot just in time for you to look into the beautiful splat. If you put the gun on the inside then you will not have time to bring the gun out and your head will have to come even further out of the prop. If you do manage to shoulder your gun with your face directly in the middle, then you will be leaning back getting a cramp and will not be able to keep the gun steady.
4. Makes your gun taller. Without a drop it will lower your hopper to about even with the top of your head.
5. When running and shooting you can still shoulder the gun and don't have to do the, I just ran down the field shooting with one hand while Isaiah saw me ten seconds after I saw him but still shot me.
6. Without a drop your back won't cramp and you won't have a problem holding your gun in the same position ready to shoot for upwards of 15 minutes. If you use an electric gun the weight distribution will give your gun less recoil. What does this mean? Being able to shoot ball closer to ball instead of a large spray due to user error.
7. Your gun is always a few inches off your face and you will not have to worry about your shot being off to the left or right ever, because you will have the gun in the same position EVERY time.
8. Playing the snake. Ever played the snake with a dropforward? Did you have trouble shooting out of the sides? Well if you had a longer setup you could actually shoulder the gun while laying down!
9. Shooting off-handed feels exactly the same as right handed and you will be able to adapt much faster.
Guys I don't think this is rocket science but if you have ever experienced any of these problems try playing without a drop for three weeks. Yes give it a little time it's awkward at first, but you will be amazed at the performance increase in your game.
