ok, does neone here like to crawl their trigger, cause i love it and i was just wondering how other crawlers had their triggers set up

in addition, which gun is shorther/lighter, the speed, or the 2k3 angles?

Is 'crawl' another name for walking? To the other question, i think the speed is lighter.

nah, crawling and walking are 2 different things, with crawling u take your index and middle fingers and slide or "crawl" them agains the side of your trigger, i find this to be much easier the walking, but u need a pretty short trigger pull to do it...

that lil :blasting: <<< guy doesnt show justice for how fast speeds shoot. he is doing like... 5bps. my speed does like 25bps. one of the mods should get a smily that shows a dude behind like a minigun or uzi or somethin fast

I think another name for (crawling) is raking. I never heard it being called crawl though.

SkeL

Here's how crawling is to me: Take your fingers and turn them into legs. Start walking them along your desk. Then, you do that "walking motion" against the side of your trigger. The side, not one finger going up and down, commonly known as the "raking" method. I can make a picture if you need me to explain it more.

that might help

i think i get it but....

golobulus

isn't that like tapping the side, the old defiants and bushy's could do that because of the trigger slop

07-27-2003, 09:19 PM
ummm i find it hard to do it on the speed cuzz i guess the trigger was made to walk like there aint no tomorrow (dont remember who said that) ummm oh the speed i find is lighter and i love the feel of it. i never really tried to crawl the trigger only in airball games where i have to play tight. i'll get back to you on that when i try it at a shorno station when i rip

alright make your fingers move like a person walking in place and move your hand 90*

MooShoo1717
07-28-2003, 04:42 AM
like, your first finger pulls the trigger and slides bye and the next finer catches it returning and pulls it back then slidess bye and the first finger cathes it again. see what i mean??

golobulus

so whats the fastest way to shoot your speed? walking it? and by whats your definition of walking it, alternating your fingers on the trigger yah?

That sounds like walking the trigger to me. Now, as far as raking goes, I've seen someone do it on an impy before, they were damn fast, prolly around 16bps (not bad for an impy).

jose rico: Notice how it's against the side of the trigger? It's also a completely different finger movement than walking the trigger.

arch angel: Someone with a website has to host it, you cant just post it.

Now that sounds like "side-tapping"

SkeL
07-29-2003, 03:24 PM
I guess, you're still brushing the trigger back, not just tapping it.

biftip98
07-30-2003, 12:13 AM
yeah, ffry had it, its like the vid but u let your fingers slid off to the side of the trigger. like your just touching the counor(sp) of the trigger. by the way, how was the trigger set up in the video...

j0hn

nice video, i've been wondering how raking is done

alphakry
07-30-2003, 02:17 AM
ya - thats exactly what i figured crawling was - thats my favorite way to shoot aswell

your trigger reacts really nice to that ... i've had my new speed for about 3 days now, and i cant figure wether my skills are lacking, or i just aint made the trigger sweet enough...

is there any special way you set your trigger that way? i tried finding some good 'tips on trigger adjustment' thread - but with no luck! Anyone have any suggestions to optimize short-easy trigger pull?
