this may have already been posted, but i didnt see it newhere...

what is the feed neck on the speed considered, high, mid, or low rise, and how low if a feed neck do u think i could get away with having an evo II

id like to be able to go down to a no rise of a low rise

im a back/mid player if that helps ne, but i still like to keep a low profile esp with that big easter egg on my gun...

It's a high rise on the speed. I'm actually going to get a lowrise today. I would get an chipley low rise if i were you
( www.chipleymachine.com ). Well good luck, by the way with the stock high rise you ahve to sand down your feedneck on your evo2. So I would recommend getting a new lowrise quick so you don't have to sand down your feedneck.

Good luck

yeah, i was considering a chipley low rise, but i would really like to stay with the gated feed, unless u guys think it really isnt nesscary. also, does neone know where i can get a no rise, like on the fly's

I dunno what bones is talking about, but the speed comes with a MID-Rise on it.

gated feed is really pointless. especially if u play back/mid. and especially if u have an eggo. just get a chipley low rise or i have an a+ low rise, and its nice and low, and clamps so u don't need to be sanding anything down.

i have the chipley or whatever low rise, but you will need to sand it down just a tad because the evo is a tight fit even though its a clamping rise

so the general opinion is that gated feed is pointless for a back mid player like me?

um im lost.... usuallly back players want high rises so they can get a stack of balls all lined up.

yeah, i know, but with the faster feeding hoppers, like the evo II and sensi, im asking if i can get away with a low rise

heck yea you can, i play everywhere and mine is a low to mid rise , definately not high, more like mid or low... and i mostly play back, no problems whatsoever

here is a picture of my gun with the clamping rises off ebay: they work great and are considered to be a low rise.
