Of corse, this will be Fords flagship car. Previously it this car was the GT 40 but dude to right's to the name (I've heard), it would of been a heafty price to tag 40 onto GT. So now it is the Ford GT.

will it be faster than the 2k3 cobra? i mean stock those are faster than the vette and just about as fast as a Z06.

the car will be released in the spring of 2004 as a 2005 model,so says the website. also the MSRP is said to be under $150,000.

who said anything about a mustang, besides just mentioning. the GT is not a mustang if thats what you are implying...not only that, i think the GT has your 04 GTO beat on horsepower. can anybody say 500 hp...

o ok you wanna talk american muscle. can you say VIPER! the new srt10 has 500horse 500 lbs of torque 500 cubi inch of pure aluminum power. it is the shiznit it it the baddest lookin car around to. AND it is under 100K. nothin is that awesome. plus you can get a used gts or rt10 for like 40k. here are some pics...

I like american musle cars but they arent my cup of tee. For example i love chargers but if i had to choose between a charger or a bmw 750 i would get the bmw. but thats just me

750= Not as fast as a modded Charger. The 750iL's came equipped with a V12, but aren't nearly as fast as an M5 or M3. Sorry, but I'd take the charger for the speed category :) AS for looks and luxury, BMW all the way....... Don't get me wrong, 750's are quick, but nothing compared to what ///M puts out.

my freinds dad(mayor of Lantana) has had vettes since 1990 and his neighbor got a GTS Viper and once my freinds dad saw it he emediatly asked to drive it, he got to, fell in love with it, sold his vettes(2000, 2002zo6), bought a GTS and found out that the SRT10 was coming out in like 4 weeks so he bought a SRT10 also. thats my kind of car lover:smile: :piss2: vettes

That Ford GT is awesome. One of my favorite cars is the Ford GT 40 and they seem to be taking on the same design. DOn't quote me if I'm wrong but I remember reading in motor trend that the new viper went up against the Corvette ZO6, and the ZO6 ended up beating the viper........Corvettes rule all!

The most sick car ever invented was the McLaren F1 (It's the fastest street legal car in the world!). It's powered by a BMW V12 engine and has a top speed over 230mph!!! Check it out on the web. It's to bad though, it has a price tag of a little over 1 million.....

nope nope nope.... in that motor trend the viper beat the zo6 in every way acceleration top speed braking and handling. i have the magazine sitting here infront of me. and yes the F1Mclaren is one sick car but yea take a look at the price tag.

Ok archangel, I was talking about the 2002 viper, I think every year they do the vette vs. viper. Maybe you have the 03 magazine. Mine was from last year. What month and year is that magazine you have?

yea slaphappy is right. the Enzo Ferarri beat the Mclaren in an allaorund test. including: acceleration, top speed, handling and luxuries etc. BUT the best car EVER tested in Moter Trend magazine until next issue was the SALEEN S7, i will post a pic when i find a good one. only saw the cover i didnt get to scoop out the whole thing but thats what it said. and BONES i have the 2002 August. it says
GTS Vs. Zo6, Viper Vs. Corvette on the cover.
