"The only problem (to my knowledge) with the speed is that the volumizers don't work with it. They go in too far and compress the spring which screws up the LPR and velocity."

Is this statement true?

I have a speed with a set of twisted volumizers that i havnt sanded down at all yet. They are longer than my endcaps and stick in deeper.

Will i break something if i leave them as is? What will happen? Can i just readjust the velocity on my reg and all will be OK?

Thank you for your time to read and answer

OK this has been discussed all over, do a search! But just sand down your volumisers and they will work fine.

i tried a search and didnt come up with the info i was asking.

What if i dont sand em down? Do i need to sand down the one that doesnt have a spring behind it also.

if u could show me the thread i would appreciate it.

I would just sand them down. I guess your right, there isnt a specific thread on this, It jsut have been talked about in some threads. My bad.

I would still sand them down.

Definately sand them down. If you don't do it on the valve side there might be a chance of FSDO as there is too much tension on the spring which returns the valve cap into place.

apparently by the threads being a little longer they go deeper into the marker. This is having the affect of blocking air transfer between the 2 chambers. It has been discuessed that you can grind off a little and make these volumizers work, or put your end caps back in and wait for the Speed volumizers. Various users have reported various problems with using different volumizers. Things such as not being able to get a consistant velocity, to not having the right LPR settings etc.

what does " FSDO " mean?

FSDO means first shot drop off. So whenever you shoot a string of paint, the first paintball will not shoot out of the barrel or will shoot 5 feet or so and then fall to the ground.

The side you really want to worry about is the LPR side. If you remove your Volumizer & look down it you will notice a hole that goes into the next chamber. Having a longer inside on the volumizer will restrict the air flow. So sanding it will really help. Instead of sanding mine down, I went ahead & added a o-ring so that when I screwed it in it wouldn't go in as deep as it would w/o one.

You have to worry about both sides. If you block the passage that connects the 2 chambers, you will have problems. Just sand them down and forget about it. IF you're still worried, take them off.
