I was sitting in line for the open speedball at the IAO saturday and I was chattin with this other dude. He had a speed just like me and he noticed that I had the blue ANGEL stickers on both sides of the gun. He said the stickers faded the ano real bad after awhile...I duno abuot that but I wanted to see if anyone else had had this problem.

Faded the anno? Do you meen faded the anno real bad after he took the stickers off? Thats weird, I've never hear of anything like that....

prob the anno around the sticker was faded, so the part under the sticker was preserved, but just looked different.

i have never heard of this happening tho, and if ur gunna keep the stickers on, what does it matter?

if stickers could fade the anno it would have to be some very cheap assed anno, never heard of it either

It would look badass if the anno around the sticker faded and then you took off the sticker.

why would that look badass? It would look gay if you had a dark black rectangle on your not as black speed. I am not gonna take off my angel sticker though... I don't think this is really gonna happen, plus the sticker DOES look badass.

I mean if it was a darker anno that said "angel" it would look badass... depends on what kind of sticker you have...

yea what happens is that the anno fades where the stickers arent so when i took mine off that i had on a year or so u could tell where the stickers were cause the anno was darker than where there were no stickers, i had one of the long angel stickers and u can see where the outline is

hope that makes sense

im saving the stickers until my Speed gets cratched up, and then ill put them on to hide scratches

Sounds like the ano just wore off from normal use. This person is saying that the stickers are causing the anodizing to fade.
Also, it's spelled Anodizing :)

Dude I was That Guy at IAO. And Just to clear it up My ano did fade after stickers. But thats sorta weird that ur the person I talked to at IAO

Muhaha, I have a Orracle sticker on the side of my Speed.
I put it there, so she would be more accurate, like a cocker. :clown:

Unless the stickers are for a sponsor I think stickering up a pretty angel is a crime.

I could see that anodizing fade on the speeds. The anodizing sucks on them. I'm going to put 2 very large stickers on both sides of my gun just to save it. If anyone knows a good sight I could go to to look into getting my speed re-anodized a different color that would be great.

ebay has the sticker packs with a bunch of ANGEL and flags and HEAVEN and stuff

BruceLeroy- I'm with ya on stickers. I refuse to cover up my iR3, I paid extra for the fade and the milling, so it's gonna get shown off, not hidden. Got a couple on my barrel and loader, but thats about it.
car is a different story though.....no fancy milling there, lol
