:dito: But if you want to practice you accuracy AND snapshooting at the same time do this. Go to an area where you arent going to hit anyone with a paintball. Setup a little bunker for you to hide behind, then place a bucket or soemthing maybe 25 feet away. Practice snapping out really fast and hitting the bucket a few times.......Then move the bucket or whatever you are using around. That is what I did when I first started. And the night before make sure all your equipment works, test everything and clean it all out, and dont forget to lube. Good luck at the tryouts and even if you dont make it you could get some friends and start your own team. Good luck though Cameron.
Hope this helps,

cameroncarnes and BONES are right, just do the best you can and push your limits. Along similar lines with what BONES said regarding snap shooting a bucket, you can also try improving your snap shooting skills by suspending 20 oz. bottles from a branch or ledge or something and work on hitting them. Works nice because it gets you working with small targets, similar to parts of a hopper or barrel or foot. Practice working on your slides, running, and just moves in general. Get comfortable with pushing the field and looking for new angles. All in all, just play your heart out and prove you have passion for our sport.

Pretty much practice alot. Again and again.
Also dont be a ***** when your trying out. Step it up. Show them why they want you.

Jsut do what Sphynx, Talon, cameroncarnes and I suggested and you will do fine. Really try that snap shooting with 20oz bottles. That better than a bucket!

Another thing to do is not be reserved when playing. Make smart moves but dont be hesitant. Go all out and be confident in your decisions. That is just something I have learned that helps you make teams, because that is what I look for. You can always teach skillz but never teach confidence and determination.
Sincerely,

you're first gun is an angel? lucky you.
make sure to keep a positive attitude. A team would rather take somebody thathas potential and works well with the team than a a better player who doesnt work well and with the players. you can only do your best. practising at home definatley helps, but noting is better than actuall experiance. get out to the field and pick up a few games. also, read the thread on supair tactics.
