View Full Version : Crossfire on IR3????
I will be running one of those newer 68/4500 crossfires with the preset output of 800psi (it has a red neck) will that work fine on my IR3? Whats the output pressure suppose to be like 600?

Normal output pressure from the AIR high pressure system is about 650. However the crossfire system you will be using should work fine.

I use an 88/4500 crossfire on my IR3, shoots just fine. As far as presets go, I believe Crossfire is the best.

I have an A.I.R. and I have it set to an output pressure of 720. My iR3 shoots very consistenly. I get groupings of about 5-8 fps differnce. Sometimes I get 3 in a row on the same fps!! I'm not a fan of crossfire tanks. I've seen burst discs blow on the first fill. You can get the A.I.R. reg, seprate. I would highly recommend it. ;)

I've got a paintball mania system (about 800 psi output) and I'm looking at getting an IR3, judging by the responses here I would assume that this system is safe to use on the IR3, even though the manual states 600 psi? or is 600 simply the minimum that should be put into the gun?
Thanks!

one more thing..
Crossfires have a very high recharge rate. They had a demonstration at IAO comparing them with PMI Pure Energy's, Smart Parts Maxflows, and a couple other, and yes, Crossfire was able to supply air faster than all of them.
