ok ive searched and havnt found this exact guestion so here it is.
i have a speed with angel air and 2 volumizers. not sure which ones they are but here is a pic of them below. anyway i set the AIR at 450 output and the dwell is at the third green light. and the fps is mad crazy. its shooting at like 265,291,264,284,275 and all kinda of things. what should i do. should i set dwell even higher? get rid of the volumizers or what? any help is appreciated.

those vols are not designed for the speed.... take them off put the end caps on and see how it shoots then all u cheapskate volumizers users need to pick up dirt vols or wdp vols which work extremely well on the speed

Pull the volumizer off the lpr side(left side if your shooting it)I bet that will smooth her out.

Dude, this wont do a thing, and godspeed, try raising ur dwell before you take anything off, if that dont work, take BOTH off, then try it again, but those do look lke System-X vols, and the vol on the LPR side doesnt do a thing to help, it is just there for the looks.

raise dwell? Doesn't the manual say that the lower the dwell the more consistent the velocities?

well can you guys tell me what you have every possible setting on your gun at like the dwell, output pressure of tank, how many of those silver disc things that are in the ram or whatever, and all that without the volumizers cause i think im going to take mine off

the "silver disks" you speak of are what's called Shims. They control your LPR psi. Now, as for the volumizer issue. Part of the problem people have been reporting is that the volumizer on the LPR side is affecting the LPR's performance. Try taking it off that side. If that doesn't work, most likely it's the paint or your air source. Do you have an angel toolkit? How many shots has the gun had? Any problems besides this? If you have a toolkit, what is your LPR pressure. Answering those questions will help us fix your marker.

alright i have no paint or chrono at this time so i need to try and get it fixed with out one my setup right now is 4 shams, volumizer on right side, dwell on the 8th light, and output at around 450 but it fluctuates a little but i dont think that should be a problem since the operating pressure is lower then that.

Rvd your wrong about it not fixing anything by pulling off the LPR side volumizer.Because I already with Frazer established that some Volumizers sit farther back and keep the lpr from working properly.Do a search and read all about it.My speed now shoots 289,289,289,290 before it was jacked up like this poor guy.So don't rule out peoples advise when you don't really have any idea what you are talking about.Oh ya raising or lowering the dwell won't change the consistancy at all.Do you even have a speed or just that Bushmaster?

Casedogg, I already corrected him, lay off man.

Is that a brand new angel air? If it is you might have to empty it a few times before it gets its concistancy down.
